My Education & Experience
From volunteering in classrooms and summer reading programs, to teaching show choir, to working in daycare settings, I’ve been involved with childcare since middle school.
Toddlers have always been my favorite age group to work with (although second graders do have a special place in my heart after a year of student teaching!), and I've known from a young age that working with children is my calling and passion in life.

In 2021 I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University, along with an International Baccalaureate certificate in teaching and learning.

As part of my program requirements, I spent a semester student teaching in a Toddler Classroom at the Child Development Center on campus. That experience had a huge impact on my teaching philosophies and beliefs.

Upon graduating I came back to the CDC to teach the Young Toddler Program, and I'm so excited about the work we're doing here!
